PS3 Video Game Trophies
A new phenomena has taken over the video gaming world and it isn’t a new system. It’s not something tangible and they aren’t expensive. They are trophies. Virtual trophies.
Just as people can now “learn guitar” by playing Guitar Hero and “play soccer” and “play football” on video games, now you can “earn trophies” for all of these activities. While you aren’t actually exerting the same amount of energy and brain power if you were ACTUALLY performing these activities, you can still win trophies for your virtual endeavors. The video game system, Playstation, has implemented a trophy system in a majority (and still growing) of their games. Now when you beat a level or a defeat a monster, you will be rewarded. Bronze, silver, gold, and platinum trophies are awarded for accomplishments and contributions.
You can brag to your friends about your trophies and even challenge them to future competitions to see who will earn the most amount of trophies. As if playing video games wasn’t time consuming enough, now you have to worry about winning an endless amount of video game trophies.
