The Yankees are paying tribute to owner George Steinbrenner on his 80th birthday Sunday by displaying all seven World Series baseball trophies the organization has won since The Boss purchased the franchise in 1973.
The Commissioners’ Trophies from 1977, ’78, ’96, ’98, ’99, 2000 and last year will be out on the 200-level concourse, just outside the Yankees Museum near the right field corner of the ballpark.
