The Malta Tenpin Bowling Association held the presentation of trophies and awards ceremony for the MSV national league and the Tenovar national championships. The ceremony, at the InterContinental Hotel, was well attended. The national championships were held recently while the national league came to an end a few weeks ago. The Association thanked those who took part, as well as the sponsors, Middlesea Valletta Life.
The Gold Cup winners were Stephanie Said and Nathan Brimmer. The winners of the national championship, sponsored by Tenovar, were Sue Abela and Neil Sullivan. In the MSV Life national leagues, Atlas won the third division, HSBC the second division and okmalta.com the first division.
It is well to note that Melissa Swift and Sue Abela decided to donate their trophies to the association, as did Fina, third in the first division. The Gold Cup winners’ presentation was made by MTBA president Julian Pace Bonello, that for the Tenovar national championships by David Falzon and that for the MSV Life league by Joanna Azzopardi.
